Herbed-Mustard Marinade

This quick and easy mustard-based marinade pairs well with chicken and is ready in the time it takes you to stir together a few ingredients.

Ingredients

8 ounce jarDijon-style mustard (1 cup)see savings

1/4 cupolive oilsee savings

2 Tbsp.dry red winesee savings

2 clovesgarlic, mincedsee savings

1 tsp.dried rosemary, crushedsee savings

1 tsp.dried basil, crushedsee savings

1/2 tsp.oregano, crushedsee savings

1/2 tsp.dried thyme, crushedsee savings

1/4 tsp.ground black peppersee savings

Directions
1.
In a small bowl stir together mustard, olive oil, wine, garlic, rosemary, basil, oregano, thyme and pepper. Spread 1/2 cup of the mustard mixture evenly over chicken.

Cover and chill chicken and reserved mustard mixture for 8 to 24 hours. Drain, discarding marinade. Makes about 24 (1 tablespoon servings).
