Hearty Chicken Vegetable Soup

Canned tomatoes and frozen corn and green beans makes it easy to create this quick-cooking and tasty soup that's ready in less than 45 minutes.

Ingredients

1 tbsp.buttersee savings

1medium onion, chopped (about 1/2 cup)see savings

1/2 tsp.dried thyme leaves, crushedsee savings

1/4 tsp.garlic powder or 1 clove garlic, mincedsee savings

5 cupsSwanson® Chicken Broth (Regular, Natural Goodness or Certified Organic)see savings

2 cupsfrozen whole kernel cornsee savings

-
2 cupsfrozen cut green beanssee savings

1 cupcut-up canned tomatosee savings

2 1/2 cupsdiced cooked chickensee savings

Directions
1.
Heat the butter in a 6-quart saucepot over medium-high heat. Add the onion, thyme and garlic powder and cook until the onion is tender.
2.
Stir the broth, corn, green beans and tomatoes in the saucepot and heat to a boil. Reduce the heat to low. Cook for 5 minutes or until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
3.
Stir in the chicken and cook until the mixture is hot.
