Sweet grilled summer peaches wrapped in savory ham make a wonderful starter to your summer BBQ.


Ham-Wrapped Grilled Summer Peach Slices

    Smithfield Deli Thin Tub Luncheon Ham

  • firm summer peaches

    basil leaves

    decorative appetizer skewers

Directions
1.
Heat grill until it's hot. Remove peach pits and slice each peach into 6 thick slices for a total of 18 slices.
2.
Place peach slices on grill and cook them just until grill marks appear on one side. Remove peach slices from the grill and allow to cool slightly.
3.
Meanwhile, cut each slice of ham in two lengthwise. Wrap each peach slice with a slice of ham.
4.
To serve, place one basil leaf on the outside of each wrapped peach slice and secure with a decorative appetizer skewer.
