Directions

In a large mixing bowl combine eggs, crushed crackers, onion, milk, mustard, and pepper. Add ground ham and ground pork; mix well. Shape into 12 balls, using about 1/3 cup mixture for each ball. Place ham balls in a lightly greased 2-quart rectangular baking dish.

Bake ham balls, uncovered, in a 350 degree F oven about 45 minutes or until juices run clear.

Meanwhile, for Currant Glaze, in a small saucepan combine currant jelly, horseradish, orange peel, and orange juice. Cook and stir until jelly melts and mixture is smooth.

Remove balls from baking dish; spoon glaze over ham balls. If desired, garnish with kumquats. Makes 6 servings.
