Ham and Asparagus Bows

  • 4 cups
    farfalle (bow ties), rotelle (corkscrews), or other small pasta

    frozen cut asparagus or broccoli

    cooked ham slices, cut into thin strips

    soft-style cream cheese with chives and onion

  • 1/3 cup
    milk

Directions
1.
Cook pasta according to package directions, except add the frozen asparagus or broccoli the last 5 minutes and the ham the last minute of the cooking time. Drain and return to the pan.
2.
Stir cream cheese into milk in a 2-cup measure; add to the pasta mixture in the pan. Stir gently over medium heat until the mixture is heated through. Makes 4 servings.
