Grilled Asparagus with Lemon and Garlic

Ingredients

1 poundasparagussee savings

-
3 tablespoonsolive oilsee savings

-
1/4 teaspoonpaprikasee savings

-
2 clovesgarlic, finely mincedsee savings

-
1 teaspoongrated lemon zestsee savings

-
Salt and freshly ground black peppersee savings

Directions
1.
Trim asparagus. In a small bowl, combine oil, paprika, garlic, and lemon zest and stir with a fork.
2.
Place asparagus in a casserole dish and pour mixture over asparagus. Toss until evenly covered. Place in grilling basket. Cook to desired tenderness and season with salt and pepper.
Alternate method if you do not have a grilling basket:
Lay asparagus side by side and pierce on 2 wooden skewers to form a raft. Place rafts on the grill and brush with oil mixture.
Serving Suggestions
Serve with Smithfield Marinated Hickory Sweet Pork Tenderloin.
