Green Bean Corn Casserole

This is a simple dish to pair with a Smithfield ham, but with a few additions makes a delicious entree.

Ingredients

1 bagfrozen French-style green beanssee savings
-
1 cupcelery, choppedsee savings
-
1/2 cupsour creamsee savings
-
1 cancream of celery soupsee savings
-
1 cancorn, drainedsee savings
-
1green pepper, choppedsee savings
-
1/2 cupcheddar cheese, grated (or more)see savings
-
1 sleevebutter crackers, finely crushedsee savings
-
3 tablespoonsmelted buttersee savings
Directions
1.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a large mixing bowl, combine the first 7 ingredients and place in a prepared 13x9-inch casserole dish.
2.
Combine the crushed butter crackers and melted butter and spread over top of casserole.
3.
Bake for 45 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
Paula Deen's Note:
I like to add 1 cup of diced ham and 1 cup of shredded cooked chicken to this recipe to make it a main dish!
