This 20-minute dinner is low in calories and fat. Broil this seasoned fish until it flakes easily with a fork. The garlic and herbs make it melt in your mouth.
Servings: 2 servings (about 5 ounces cooked fish)

12 ouncesfresh or frozen halibut steaks (about 1-inch thick)see savings
2 tablespoonssnipped fresh basilsee savings
1 tablespoonmelted buttersee savings
1 clovegarlic, mincedsee savings
1/8 teaspoonsaltsee savings
1/8 teaspoonground black peppersee savings
Thaw fish, if frozen; rinse and pat dry. If necessary, cut fish into 2 serving size pieces. In a small bowl combine basil, melted butter, garlic, salt, and black pepper. Brush mixture over both sides of halibut.
Place fish on the unheated rack of broiler pan. Broil 4 inches from heat for 8 to 12 minutes or until fish flakes easily when tested with fork, turning once.
