Fried Scallops

Pan-fry scallops in a skillet with nonstick spray coating to keep the calorie count lower. Sprinkle with a tasty crumb mixture just before serving.

8 ouncesfresh or frozen sea scallopssee savings

1 tablespoonfine dry bread crumbssee savings

1 tablespoongrated Parmesan cheesesee savings

1/8 teaspoongarlic saltsee savings

1/8 teaspoonpaprikasee savings

Lemon wedges (optional)see savings

Nonstick spray coatingsee savings

Directions
1.
Thaw scallops, if frozen. Halve any large scallops.
2.
In a small bowl stir together bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic salt, and paprika; set aside.
3.
Spray a medium skillet with nonstick spray coating. Heat skillet over medium-high heat. Add scallops. Cook scallops for 5 to 6 minutes or until tender, stirring frequently.
4.
Sprinkle scallops with crumb mixture. Serve immediately. Serve with lemon wedges, if desired. Makes 2 servings.
