Ingredients
  • 1 cup
    sugar

  • 1 cup
    water
    see savings

  • additional cups of cold water
    see savings
    On Sale
  • 1 cup
    fresh squeezed lemon juice (about 6 lemons)
    see savings
    On Sale
  • 1/2 cup
    mint leaves (optional)
    see savings
    On Sale

Directions
1.
Bring sugar and 1 cup water to a simmer in a small saucepan, stirring until sugar dissolves. Let cool.
2.
Pour into a pitcher and stir in lemon juice. Add 4 cups cold water; cover and refrigerate.
3.
For minty lemonade, add mint leaves to the sugar mixture in saucepan. Strain before using.
