Ingredients
2 13-ounce packages soft coconut macaroon cookies (32 cookies)
3/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
3/4 cup semisweet chocolate pieces
3/4 cup raisins, dried cranberries, or dried cherries and golden raisins
1 cup coarsely chopped peanuts
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350 degree F. Arrange cookies in the bottom of a greased 13x9x2-inch baking pan. Press cookies together to form a crust. Bake in preheated oven for 12 minutes. Remove from oven.
2. Drizzle crust evenly with sweetened condensed milk. Sprinkle with chocolate pieces, dried fruit, and peanuts. Bake for 25 minutes more or until edges are lightly browned. Cool in pan on a wire rack. Cut into bars. Makes 30 bars.
To Store
Place bars in a single layer in an airtight container; cover. Store at room temperature for up to 3 days.
