Figs with Lemon-Scented Mascarpone & Honey

Ingredients

1/2 cup mascarpone

1/4 teaspoon finely grated lemon zest

Few drops lemon juice

Pinch freshly grated nutmeg

12 fresh figs

Honey, for drizzling
Directions

In a small bowl, stir together the mascarpone, lemon zest, lemon juice, and nutmeg. Cut the figs in half lengthwise. Top each fig half with a scant teaspoon of the mascarpone filling. Arrange on a serving plate and drizzle with honey.
