Derby Mint Julep
For an authentic toast to the races, look no further - beware, these cocktails are no joke, but they are sooo good!

Ingredients

3 sprigs fresh mint

2 tablespoons simple syrup

1/2 cup shaved or crushed ice

Bourbon to fill (about 1/3 cup)
Directions
1.
Tear up 2 sprigs mint and drop in a chilled glass. With the back of a spoon, bruise the mint well in the bottom of the glass.

Stir in simple syrup, add ice, and fill with bourbon. Stir well and top with another sprig of mint. Serve. (See "Additional Info" for Simple
