  • 1  cup  milkOn Sale
  • 1/2  cup  light cream or half-and-halfOn Sale
  • 1  tbsp.  lemon juiceOn Sale
  • 4  tbsp.  prepared pesto sauceOn Sale
  • 4  slices  French or Italian bread, 1/2-inch thick, toastedOn Sale

Directions
1.
Heat the soup, milk, cream and lemon juice in a 2-quart saucepan over medium heat until the mixture is hot and bubbling.
2.
Spread 1 tablespoon pesto on each toast slice.
3.
Divide the soup among 4 serving bowls. Float 1 pesto crouton in each bowl.

Tip:
If you have some on hand, spread a little goat cheese on the toast slice before topping with the pesto.
