Crazy Clams

What makes these clams crazy? They're served in a tasty Italian sauce that's kicked up with garlic and crushed red pepper, and served with garlic toast to sop up the extra sauce. They're crazy good.

Ingredients

2 tbsp.olive oilsee savings

4 clovesgarlic, mincedsee savings

3 cupsPrego® Traditional Italian Sauce OR Prego® Marinara Italian Saucesee savings

1/2 tsp.crushed red peppersee savings

3dozen medium-sized clamssee savings

6 slicesPepperidge Farm® Garlic Texas Toastsee savings

1 1/2 tbsp.chopped fresh Italian parsleysee savings

Directions
1.
Heat the oven to 425 degrees F. for the bread.
2.
Heat the oil in a 12-inch skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook until it's golden.
3.
Stir the sauce and red pepper in the skillet and heat to a boil. Stir in the clams. Reduce the heat to low. Cover and cook for 10 minutes or until the clams open. Discard any unopened clams.
4.
Meanwhile, bake the bread according to the package directions.
5.
Divide the clams and sauce among 6 serving bowls. Sprinkle the clam mixture with the parsley. Serve with the bread for dipping.
