  • 1  12-ounce package  cranberries (3 cups)On Sale
  • 3/4  cup  apple juiceOn Sale
  • 1/2  cup  sugarOn Sale
  • 1  tablespoon  lemon juiceOn Sale
  • 1  teaspoon  dried minced onionOn Sale
  • 1/2  teaspoon  dried rosemary, crushedOn Sale
  • 2  medium  pears, cored and chopped (2 cups)On Sale
  •     Fresh rosemary sprig (optional)On Sale

Directions

In a medium saucepan combine cranberries, apple juice, sugar, lemon juice, onion, and rosemary. Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Cook, uncovered, over medium heat about 5 minutes or until cranberries pop.

Add pears and cook, uncovered, 2 minutes more or until pears are just tender. Serve warm with turkey, ham, or roast pork. If desired, garnish with a rosemary sprig. Makes 3-1/2 cups (twelve about 1/4-cup servings).

Make-Ahead Directions
Prepare as above. Cool, cover, and chill relish up to 1 day.
