Cranberry-Apple Tea
From: Better Homes and GardensServe this fruity hot drink at a Christmas or brunch or tree trimming party. For flavorful stirrers, add 4-inch lengths of stick cinnamon for each cupful.

Ingredients
2 cups fresh cranberries
6 thin slices fresh ginger
4 whole cloves
2 2-inch pieces stick cinnamon
4 cups water
1/4 cup honey
4 tea bags
4 cups apple juice
Directions
1. Stir together cranberries, spices, and water in a large saucepan. Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Cook, uncovered, over medium heat for 3 to 5 minutes or just until cranberries begin to pop.
2. Remove from heat. Stir in honey; add tea bags. Strain cranberry mixture through a double thickness of 100-percent-cotton cheesecloth. Discard solids. Return strained mixture to the saucepan. Add apple juice; heat through. Makes 8 1-cup servings.
