Coffee-Scented Tiramisu

Tiramisu is a great make-ahead dessert because it tastes even better after a night in the refrigerator. The yummy layers of coffee-drizzled ladyfingers and cream cheese filling meld together into a creamy treat.

  • 1  package  (8 ounces) reduced-fat cream cheese, at room temperatureOn Sale

  • 24    crisp ladyfinger cookies (7-ounce package); see NoteOn Sale
  • 1  cup  strong brewed coffeeOn Sale
  • 2  tablespoons  unsweetened cocoa powderOn Sale
  • 2  teaspoons  confectioners' sugarOn Sale

Directions
1.
Beat cream cheese, sugar, coffee liqueur and vanilla in medium-size bowl for 3 to 4 minutes or until light and creamy.

Whip cream to firm peaks. Fold whipped cream into cream-cheese mixture.

Arrange half of ladyfingers in dish just large enough to hold them in one layer, such as a 12 x 7-inch dish. Drizzle with half the coffee. Top with half the cream-cheese mixture, spreading smooth. Sprinkle with half the cocoa. Arrange the remaining ladyfingers over cocoa. Drizzle with remaining coffee. Top with remaining cream-cheese mixture, smoothing the top. Sprinkle with remaining cocoa.

Cover and refrigerate at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight. Dust with confectioners' sugar.
