Citrus Fruit Tarts

Pepperidge Farm Puff Pastry
Using puff pastry shells allows you to make these bakery-style desserts in under an hour. The shells are filled with an silky orange cream that's topped with fresh fruit...delicious!

Ingredients

2 pkg.(10 ounces each) Pepperidge Farm® Puff Pastry Shellssee savings

-
1 pkg.(8 ounces) cream cheese, softenedsee savings

-
1 tbsp.sugarsee savings

-
2 tbsp.orange juicesee savings

-
2 tsp.grated orange zestsee savings

-
1 cupthawed frozen whipped toppingsee savings

-
6strawberries, cut in halfsee savings

-
3peeled orange slices , cut into quarterssee savings

-
1kiwi , peeled and cut into 12 chunkssee savings

-
1/2 cupapricot preserves, warmedsee savings

Directions
1.
Prepare the pastry shells according to the package directions.
2.
Beat the cream cheese, sugar, orange juice and orange zest in a medium bowl with a fork or whisk until the mixture is smooth. Fold in the whipped topping.
3.
Spoon about 3 tablespoons cream cheese mixture into each pastry shell. Divide the fruit among the filled pastry shells. Brush the fruit with the preserves. Serve immediately or cover and refrigerate for up to 4 hours.
Tip:
To soften the cream cheese, remove the wrapper and place the cream cheese on a microwavable plate. Microwave on HIGH for 15 seconds or until it's softened.
