Choco Chip-Applesauce Muffins

2 cupsCheerios® cerealsee savings

1 1/4 cupsGold Medal® all-purpose floursee savings

1/3 cuppacked light brown sugarsee savings

1 teaspoonbaking powdersee savings

1 teaspoonground cinnamonsee savings

3/4 teaspoonbaking sodasee savings

1 cupapplesaucesee savings

1/3 cupmilksee savings

3 tablespoonsvegetable oilsee savings

1/2 cupminiature chocolate chipssee savings

Directions
1.
Heat oven to 400 degrees F. Place paper baking cups in each of 12 regular-size muffin cups or spray bottoms only with cooking spray.

Place cereal in resealable food-storage plastic bag; seal bag. Using rolling pin, crush cereal; pour into large bowl. Add flour, brown sugar, baking powder, cinnamon and baking soda; mix well. Stir in remaining ingredients just until moistened. Divide batter evenly among muffin cups.
3.
Bake 18 to 22 minutes or until golden brown. Immediately remove from muffin cups. Cool 5 minutes before serving.
