Chilly-Weather Chili

The hot and spicy taco flavor of this ground beef and double bean chili will chase away winter's chills.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
  • 1 15 - 15 3/4 ounce can chili beans with chili gravy
  • 1 8 1/4 ounce can refried beans (about 1 cup)
  • 1 8 ounce can tomato sauce
  • 1 8 ounce jar taco sauce
  • 1 8 ounce jar salsa (hot, medium, or mild)
  • 1/2 cup water
Directions
1. 
In a large saucepan or Dutch oven, cook beef and onion just until beef is brown. Drain off fat.
2. 
Add remaining ingredients. Bring to boiling. Reduce heat; cover. Simmer 30 minutes; stir occasionally. Makes 4 servings.
