Chicken in Mushroom Sauce

Chicken breasts simmered in a creamy mushroom sauce are served with rice.

Ingredients

1 tbsp.vegetable oilsee savings

4skinless, boneless chicken breast halves (about 1 pound)see savings

1 can(10 3/4 ounces) Campbell's® Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup (Regular or 98% Fat Free)see savings

-
1/2 cupmilksee savings

-
1/8 tsp.ground black peppersee savings

-
4 cupshot cooked regular long-grain white ricesee savings

-
Chopped fresh parsleysee savings

Directions
1.
Heat the oil in a 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for 10 minutes or until well browned on both sides.
2.
Stir the soup, milk and black pepper in the skillet and heat to a boil. Reduce the heat to low. Cover and cook for 5 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through. Serve the chicken and sauce with the rice. Sprinkle with the parsley.
Tip:
This recipe is also delicious with prepared seasoned long grain and wild rice mix instead of the white rice.
