Cheese Wafers
Recipe from Kellogg's

Serve these cheese-shortbread wafers at your next appetizer party. They're sure to be a hit!

Cheese Wafers

  • 3/4  cup 
    all-purpose flour
  • 1/2  teaspoon 
    Dash cayenne pepper
  • 1/2  cup 
    margarine or butter, softened
  • 2   cups 
    (8 oz.) shredded, sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 1 1/2  cups 
    Rice Krispies® or 1 cup All-Bran® Original
Stir together flour, salt and pepper. Set aside.
In large mixing bowl, beat margarine and cheese until very light and fluffy. Stir in Kellogg's® Rice Krispies® cereal. Add flour mixture, mixing until well combined. Drop by teaspoon onto ungreased baking sheets. Flatten with fork dipped in flour.
Bake at 350 degrees F about 12 minutes or until lightly browned around edges. Remove immediately from baking sheets. Cool on wire racks.
