Cheddar-Jack Biscuits

Ingredients

1 cup shredded Cheddar-Jack cheese blend

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 (24-ounce) package frozen tea biscuits, such as Mary B's, slightly thawed

1/2 cup butter, melted
Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Coat a 12-cup muffin pan with cooking spray; set aside.

In the work bowl of a food processor, combine cheese, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, and salt. Process for approximately 30 seconds until cheese is finely grated and seasonings are well blended. Transfer cheese mixture to a shallow bowl.

Dip each biscuit in melted butter and then roll in cheese mixture. Stand 2 biscuits on end in each muffin cup. Top biscuits with any remaining cheese mixture.

Bake for 20 minutes, or until biscuits are golden brown.
