Ingredients
  • Chai tea bag

  • small Gala or Fuji apples, peeled, cored, and coarsely chopped

  • Bartlett pears, peeled, cored, and coarsely chopped

  • 1/2  cup
    brown sugar

Directions
1.
Bring 1 cup water and chai tea bag to a boil in a large saucepan. Add apples, pears and brown sugar. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer until fruit is soft, about 20 to 25 minutes.
2.
Process in a blender, in batches, until coarsely pureed, or mash with a potato masher for a chunkier texture.
