  • 1 1/4   cups   honey-based syrup, such as Alaga Yellow Label® SyrupOn Sale
  • 1/2   cup   firmly packed light brown sugarOn Sale
  • 1   cup   waterOn Sale
  • 1/2   teaspoon   maple extractOn Sale
  • 1/2   teaspoon   vanilla extractOn Sale

Directions

In a medium saucepan, combine syrup, sugar, water, and extracts over medium heat. Bring to a simmer, stirring frequently, until sugar dissolves. Continue to cook for approximately 20 minutes, or until thickened slightly, stirring occasionally.

Let cool for at least 15 minutes before serving.
