  • 3/4  cup  instant brown riceOn Sale

  • 3/4  teaspoon  snipped fresh marjoram or 1/4 teaspoon dried marjoram, crushedOn Sale

Directions

In a medium saucepan stir together water and bouillon granules. Bring to boiling. Stir in mushrooms, uncooked rice, carrot, marjoram, and black pepper. Return to boiling; reduce heat. Simmer, covered, for 12 minutes.

Remove from heat. Let stand, covered, for 5 minutes. Add the green onions and parsley; toss gently with a fork. Makes 4 servings.
