Ingredients
1 2-lb. whole wheel brie cheese
2/3 cup toasted chopped pecans or walnuts
2/3 cup toasted slivered almonds
2/3 cup chopped pistachios
2/3 cup dried cranberries or dried tart cherries
2/3 cup snipped dried apricots
2/3 cup dried currants or golden raisins
Unsalted crackers
Directions
1. With a flat-edged knife scrape off most of the rind on the top side of the brie wheel. Cut brie into six equal wedges; arrange on a serving platter with points facing out to create a six-pointed star. Press one type of nut or fruit on the top of each wedge. Arrange crackers inside the brie wheel. Cover and chill up to 2 hours before serving. Makes 32 servings.
