Ingredients
  • 8 ounces
    dried bow tie pasta

  • 3/4 pound
    fresh spicy Italian sausage links

  • medium sweet peppers, cut into 3/4-inch pieces

  • 1/2 cup
    vegetable broth or beef broth

  • 1/4 teaspoon
    coarsely ground black pepper

Directions
1.
Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and return pasta to pan. Meanwhile, cut sausages into 1-inch pieces. Cook sausage and sweet pepper in a large skillet over medium-high heat until sausage is brown. Drain off fat.

Add broth and black pepper to skillet. Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Simmer, uncovered, for 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Toss pasta with sausage mixture. Makes 4 servings.
