Use These Apps to Get Free Cash: Supermarket Savvy

Most everyone on Facebook is familiar with check-in apps such as Places and foursquare. These apps allow you to use your smartphone to “check in” to real-life places, earning you virtual recognition, alerting you to deals and savings (and, of course, showing your friends where you’ve been).
Now there’s a new generation of check-in apps that earn you cash while you shop for groceries.
EasyShift and CheckPoints are the two apps that seem most prevalent today, but I expect to see more soon.
EasyShift posts “tasks,” which usually require scanning an item’s barcode at a specific location. As a user, you sign up for these tasks and have three days to complete them. When you’re finished, you receive a payment of $3 to $8 deposited into your PayPal account the next day. Accept a few tasks, and you could be pocketing an easy $24 while you shop — that’s not small change when it comes to the average grocery bill!
There are no EasyShift tasks available where I live — yet — so I’d love to hear from those of you who’ve used this. Post your comments below and let me know what you thought.
CheckPoints maintains a list of items to scan at your local stores or at home. There’s no need to sign up for a “task” — just start scanning! You earn points for each scan, which you can then cash in for gift cards, travel rewards or to make charitable contributions. CheckPoints also awards virtual coins that enable you to play virtual games. The games have instant prizes of additional points — up to 150,000! (which would buy a lot of gift cards). The site also lists special discounts and deals for businesses nationwide.
EasyShift is available only for iPhone; CheckPoints is works on both iPhone and Android.

This kind of bit everyone contributed on top of will be for terrific value. I appreciate you for an individual¡¯s excellent succeed. Please keep us educated along these lines.
are these apps available for use in canada?
It appears both are only for US markets – for now. The Checkpoints site says that they’d love to be in Canada someday. The EasyShift site doesn’t discuss Canada, but it has only been around for a couple of months. I am sure that they would also love to expand to Canada and beyond. I’d keep checking their sites. Thanks for reading!
