Beef and Bean BurgersIt’s a burger; it’s a burrito; it’s both. This Spicy Beef and Bean Burger puts a Mexican spin on the ground-beef hamburger by adding pinto beans, celery, canned jalapeño chiles, garlic and a bit of salsa.  Wrap it in a flour tortilla, and you have one flavorful, and superfast meal.

Not only does it lend a kick to your same-old, same-old burger, it turns a favorite meal healthy, with more fiber (thanks to the beans), more veggies, less bread (by substituting a tortilla for a big old hamburger roll, and less fat (it’s broiled, not fried).

In 27 minutes flat, you have dinner on the table. Serve the beef-and-bean burgers, all wrapped up in their tortillas, on fresh lettuce leaves. Or serve them with a tossed salad (you can mix that up while the burgers are broiling).
