Easy New Year’s Resolutions: Start the Day with a Smoothie!
Want a satisfying super-healthy breakfast that takes only 10 minutes to make and gives you healthy servings of fruit and dairy? All you need is a cup of low- or nonfat milk, 1/3 cup plain or fruity yogurt, and 2 cups of fresh or frozen fruit (we love blueberries, strawberries, and bananas).
Whir them together in a blender until smooth, and serve (in a to-go cup if you’re on the run). At only about 80 calories per cup, a smoothie is one lean, mean, energy- and vitamin-rich way to start your morning.
