Here we are at the end of the school year, and that means … graduation! Celebrating your child finishing one grade and moving onto the next is important! My three girls are so proud of themselves for doing well this year, but they’re a bit nervous to move up to the next grade. I knew I had to whip up a simple graduation lunch to celebrate their accomplishments and let them know how proud I am of them!
What You’ll Need:
1 slice of bread
peanut butter
jelly
1 kiwi
1/2 graham cracker
fruit leather
ribbon
To Make Happy Graduation Lunch:
Flatten the slice of bread with a rolling pin, then spread the peanut butter and jelly on the bread. Roll the bread up and tie ribbon around it to create a diploma. Peel the kiwi and cut the ends off to make it flat. Place graham cracker half on top of kiwi to create the cap. Cut a strip of fruit leather and then cut smaller strips into one end of the strip. Use a straw to cut out a small circle of the fruit leather. Place fruit leather strip in center of the graham cracker with split end dangling off the side. Place the small circle on top of the end of the fruit leather to create the tassel.
Go ahead, play with your food! Check out all of Kellie’s kid-friendly creations!
