Have a hankering for your favorite childhood lunch, but thirsty for an adult beverage? Pour yourself a PB&J vodka for the best of both worlds!

The food blog Eater reports the flavor is the latest from Van Gogh Vodka, a company known for its flavored vodkas—from old standbys such as vanilla and raspberry to other fruits like banana and pineapple to dessert options including Dutch caramel and rich dark chocolate.

On its website, Van Gogh describes the peanut butter and jelly vodka as “our take on one of the most iconic American flavor combinations of all time.”

Think it sounds kind of low-brow? Like maybe you’d serve it alongside a bottle of Night Train or Boone’s Farm Strawberry Hill? Oh, no, no, no. Impress your friends by simply describing the drink as Van Gogh master distiller Tim Vos does on the website:

“The fragrance of our PB&J Vodka is predominantly of peanuts, and is complemented by the fresh fruit aroma of the raspberry. On the tongue, the roles are reversed and the raspberry flavor is more of the focal point, giving it a velvety texture with a hint of vanilla on the side.”

Then ship the kids off to Grandma’s and whip up a few drink recipes, complements of Van Gogh, to really show your cocktail acumen. There’s Nuts & Berries ( 1 oz. Van Gogh PB&J,  ½ oz. berry liqueur, ½ oz. milk or cream). There’s the Wild PB&J (1½ oz. Van Gogh PB&J, ½ oz. Van Gogh Wild Appel, 1 oz. cranberry juice). Or, our personal fave, the PB&J & Cola (2 oz. Van Gogh PB&J, 4 oz. cola or Dr. Pepper, served on the rocks).

We’d serve them with a tray of Uncrustables, but that’s just us. Now, where can we find a cocktail recipe for an Oreos and milk chaser?

pour yourself a cocktail, with these fabulous drinks recipes!
