School is back in session, and although I love school for the routine (because we all know routines are a good thing), I admit that I miss my kids during the day. My girls are pretty fantastic, and I enjoy them. (“Awww…,” I know.)

They’re growing up incredibly fast, and I try to cherish every hectic morning as we get ready for school and I watch them get on the school bus. When they get off the bus in the afternoon, my girls are starving, so we whipped up this fun after-school snack!

What You’ll Need:
bread
sliced yellow cheese
round crackers
ham

To Make School Bus Snack:
Cut bread into the shape of a bus as shown and use it as a template to cut the slice of cheese into the same shape. Cut shapes for windows and headlight out of the ham and place on top of cheese. Cut thin strips of bread crust for the lines on the side of the bus. Use a vitamin bottle to round out openings for the wheels. Put round crackers in place for the wheels.
