Ok, so in the children’s song, it’s Mary’s little lamb that follows her to school, but it’s unlikely that this little fella would make it all in one piece in the lunchbox. No matter … if your kids are like mine, they come home from school absolutely famished! One day they each came home to their own “little lamb” waiting for them, and boy did they love it! Nevermind that the song doesn’t sing as well when you say, “Mary had a little lamb whose fleece was white as … popcorn!”
What You’ll Need:
2 round crackers
1 tablespoon peanut butter
1 pretzel ring
3 jelly beans (black, pink, & white)
1/4 cup popcorn
To Make Little Lamb Snack:
Spread the peanut butter on one of the crackers and then top with other cracker to make a sandwich. Cut the black jelly bean in half; cut the tip off one of the halves and then cut that tiny tip in half for the pupils. Cut the white jelly bean in half and then one of the halves in half again for the eyes. Cut the pink jelly bean in half for the inside of the ears. Break the pretzel ring in half for the ears. Assemble as shown.
Go ahead, play with your food! Check out more of Kellie’s kid-friendly creations:
