Oh, the joys of hot cocoa in the winter — the steaming cup of chocolatey goodness, especially with little marshmallows! In keeping with the season, I made this super simple “hot cocoa” sandwich. I originally made it without the Fruit Roll-Ups as decoration, but when I showed it to my nephews, they said: “Ooooo, decorate the cup!” So I did, but it’s completely optional. Decorate it as silly as you want, or leave it plain.
What You’ll Need:
1 sandwich (your choice)
1/4 cup popcorn
1 Fruit Roll-Up
To Make “Hot Cocoa” Sandwich:
Cut sandwich in half. Use a cup to cut off the crust from one half to form the handle of the mug. Arrange on plate as shown. Cut out shapes from Fruit Roll-Up and decorate mug (if desired). Place popcorn at the top of the mug for the frothy, foamy goodness!
Go ahead, play with your food! Check out more of Kellie’s kid-friendly creations:
