Many people don’t bother to coupon because they think they don’t have time for it. Neither do I! I juggle three part-time jobs with my full-time duties as the at-home parent to my children (and elderly pets). I certainly don’t have hours to spend shuffling through coupons and flyers each week, but thankfully, I don’t have to. I wrote earlier about coupon match-up databases, which are a great tool to use. Another tool, which I use even more frequently, is Facebook. We all know Facebook can be the ultimate timesuck, but if you use it to find deals with your coupons, it’s actually a huge time saver.

I follow several of my favorite couponers on Facebook. They post updates frequently throughout each day, sharing deals and freebies they’ve discovered. I only need to spend five or ten minutes scrolling through my newsfeed before I go shopping, and I know which stores to hit to find cheap or free products. My favorite follows are the Krazy Coupon Lady, the Frugal Girls, Couponing for 4, and Mom’s Couponmatic, due to the clarity of their posts and the frequency of their updates. Most couponing experts inevitably post the same deals within a few hours of each other, so don’t get overwhelmed trying to follow all of them or trying to select which one is the best. Just “like” a few of them, and you’ll have more than enough information to get started.
