We all know the jokes about the Christmas fruitcake that comes in the mail and ends up as a door stopper. Sadly, that mythical fruitcake (like something out of National Lampoon‘s version of Christmas) seems to have tarnished what is an otherwise sweet and thoughtful Christmas gift idea: homemade gifts right from your kitchen. If you’re like us, you no doubt have a whole list of people you’d like to spread some holiday cheer to—neighbors, coworkers, friends. So when a Christmas card doesn’t feel like enough, but you’re not exactly going to put an iPad in the stocking of everyone you know, give them something special this season that comes with a warm and homey touch.

Makes me think there are other sites that are better. And, both of these ideas are kinda lame. Gosh, I never thought of those ideas before.
