Forget Cookies — Say Hello to Girl Scout Candy Bars!

Are you sitting down? Really, you should steel yourself — we have big, big news. Ready? Here goes: Nestlé Crunch Girl Scout Candy Bars.
Have sweeter words ever been spoken?
Soon — very, very soon — you will be able to get your hands on candy bar versions of Thin Mints (“dark chocolate cookie wafers and mint chocolate crème, topped with airy crispies and a rich, dark chocolatey coating,” according to a press release), Peanut Butter Crème (“cookie wafers layered with smooth roasted peanut butter crème, topped with airy crispies and a creamy, chocolatey coating”) and Caramel & Coconut (“cookie wafers layered with coconut caramel crème and chewy caramel topped with toasted coconut and drizzled with caramel stripes”).
We know.
And, yes, we can confirm that these babies taste as good as they sound. We were sent samples of the three limited edition bars (yes, sometimes it’s hard doing this job, but research we must), and let’s just say a near riot broke out between husband, wife and children as all fought for every last delicious morsel.
But here’s the catch (there’s always a catch, isn’t there?): The bars only will be sold nationwide from June 1 through September, Today reports, and once they’re gone, they’re gone.
Hello, cruel world. The short selling period is especially painful for those like us, who can plow through a sleeve of frozen Thin Mints in less time than a Dancing With the Stars routine.
Today reports that retail locations have not yet been disclosed, but folks can pre-order a max of three boxes through Nestle’s Facebook page beginning today (March 9) at 3 p.m. EST.
You might want to set your calendar alarm now. Because, just so you know, if it comes down to it, we are fully prepared to wrestle you in the supermarket aisle. Game on.

Yeah, that’s what I was thinking. Hopefully this doesn’t harm cookie sales for GS. They need that, and it is a great program. They’re more special, also, when they’re only available during selling season. Who is really feening for GS cookies so bad? They’re good but I’m not falling over myself to get to them early.
Good but PRICEY!
I can’t wait!!!! Cookies are gone
but now score!!!
I hope the Girl Scouts are getting a portion of the profits.
