Easy New Year’s Resolutions: Get Sauced with Cranberries!

Making cranberries a more regular part of your diet may help prevent breast cancer, according to a study in which mice fed with cranberry solids had a 57 percent greater resistance to breast-cancer cells. Chock-full of antioxidants and vitamin C, cranberries fight off colds as well.


Whole berries pack a bigger nutritional punch than juice, though, so stick with cranberry relishes (tasty as a side with ham or chicken) or toss some dried cranberries into an easy coleslaw.
