No matter how you boil, dip, or melt it, crab is one summer treat that you’ve got to have at least once while the weather’s still nice.
Yes, we’ve got a classic crab boil recipe, which is really a one-pot dinner with crayfish, corn on the cob, and potatoes, too. What could be easier? And we do mean “dip,” because one of our recipes is for warm jalapeño crab dip, a sure crowd-pleaser. And we do mean “melt,” too, as in “made with cream cheese” and heated for another perfect appetizer, one that bears no resemblance at all to the honorable tuna melt.
Of course no list of crab dishes would be complete without a recipe for the one-and-only top favorite: good ol’ crab cakes – easy, delicious, and fun to make. And speaking of easy, most of the crab recipes here come together in a jiffy, using either fresh lump crab meat or frozen. One of them has your name on it — a couple of times over.
We’re sure you’ll have nothing to crab about once you whip up a few of these great crab dishes.
