According to a Finnish study of around 1,500 middle-aged folks, the lowest risk of dementia and Alzheimer’s disease was found in people who drank three to five cups of coffee a day. And, over the long term, according to the Nurses’ Health Study, drinking coffee (caff or decaf) was tied to an 8 percent decrease in the risk of type 2 diabetes in women.
No, this isn’t an all-access pass to latte and cappuccino; stick to coffee drinks without all the fat.
