Imagine not having to worry that you’ll be late to work because you ran out of coffee at home and that line at the Starbucks drive-through is so long you’re starting to think you could probably fly to Guatemala and harvest your own beans before you’ll be able to place your order for that Venti Caffe Americano.

 
It’s time to say ti amo to Italian automaker Fiat and the company’s new 500L, “the first standard-production car in the world to offer a true espresso coffee machine,” according to USA Today.

 
The mobile espresso machine “is perfectly integrated in the car with a deck designed expressly by Fiat,” the newspaper adds, noting its made by Lavazza, an Italian coffee importer and also comes with matching cups. Che bello!

 
The model is set to roll out in Italy in October, with the car hitting the rest of Europe soon after, and is expected on U.S. shores next year. Sadly, the newspaper reports that the coffee component is not expected to make it stateside, what with all the concern about driver distractions. If you thought texting and driving was tricky, consider the multi-tasking skill it would take to add sugar and cream behind the wheel.

 
No mention yet on whether Fiat is planning to install mini ovens in future models so you can whip up a coffee cake or some muffins while the espresso is brewing.
