I can’t wait to kick back and relax on New Year’s Eve,with friends, family— and a festive cocktail!
Champagne may be the expected drink du jour on the big night, but this year I’m celebrating by trying a few new cocktails recipes instead.
From seasonal fruit paired with flavored vodka, to a sweet-and-fizzy sip, to a tropical-tasting thirst-quencher, these flavor combos will be sure to please any crowd on one of the biggest party nights of the year.
Pomegranate Champagne Punch (pictured at left)
Dress up regular champagne with fizzy seltzer water and sweet pomegranate juice, for a midnight toast that packs a big flavor punch.
Mix pear-flavored vodka with lemon juice and simple syrup for a sweet and cheery drink that’s perfect for sipping. Slice a few fresh pears from your holiday fruit basket to float inside for a refreshing, fruity touch.
Toast to warmer days ahead with an island-inspired, rum-and-mint spiked drink whose sparkle will rival the glittering ball at midnight.
