Chill & Grill Festival in Chicago, June 9–10: Don’t Miss Event!

If you’re going to be anywhere in the vicinity of Chicago on June 9–10 (or if you could be there), then you’ll definitely want to check out the 2012 Chill and Grill Festival at Waveland Park.

Our sister site Better Homes and Gardens has teamed up with grill-maker Weber for this two-day extravaganza to kick off the summer grilling season. Think of it as a kind of Lollapalooza for the charbroiled steak set.

Get your grilling game on with free professional grilling demonstrations by grilling gurus Ina Pinkney, Jamie Purvlance, Stephanie Izard and Domenica Catelli. Celeb chefs Guy Fieri, the Hearty Boys and Gale Gand will also be on hand to offer tips and tricks. Want to master grilling the perfect burger, steak or pizza (or even dessert)? Sign up for one of Weber’s hand-on grilling classes.

Some of Chicago’s most buzz-worthy restaurants will be offering an array of grilled “small plates” for sampling, such as Chicago Cut Steak House, GT Fish & Oyster, Nacional 27 and West Town Tavern (and we’re dying to see what Black Dog Gelato grills up).
