Bleeping Kids Breakfast: French Toast Robot

kids recipesRobots have been fascinating kids for generations, of course. Today those of us who grew up watching the antics of R2-D2 and C3PO on Star Wars see our own kids equally delighted by the likes of WALL-E.

This little fella may look a bit old-fashioned compared to the ‘bots that CGI animation has brought to our movie screens today, and though he may not be able to turn into a semi-truck, I guarantee that he tastes better than a bite of Optimus Prime!

What You’ll Need:
French toast (your favorite recipe)
Cool Whip
1 grape
miniature chocolate chips

To Make French Toast Robot:
Cut French toast into pieces as shown for different parts of the robot. (You can always make your robot look anyway you like, though!) Spread a teaspoon of Cool Whip on the head and chest. Cut two thin slices from middle of the grape and place slices for the eyes. Gently press miniature chocolate chips into the Cool Whip on the chest for the robot buttons. Arrange and enjoy.

Go ahead, play with your food! Check out all of Kellie’s kid-friendly creations!
