  • 1  16-ounce loaf  frozen sweet bread dough, thawedOn Sale
  • 1  cup  ricotta cheeseOn Sale
  • 3  tablespoons  sugarOn Sale
  • 1/2  teaspoon  vanillaOn Sale
  • 1/2  teaspoon  finely shredded lemon or orange peelOn Sale
  • 2 to 3  cups  red raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, and/or sliced strawberriesOn Sale
  • 1  tablespoon  powdered sugarOn Sale

Directions

Press bread dough into a greased 13-inch pizza pan. Prick generously with a fork. Bake in a 375 degree F oven for 20 to 25 minutes or until light brown. Cool crust completely on a wire rack.

Meanwhile, for filling, in a small mixing bowl stir together ricotta cheese, sugar, vanilla, and lemon or orange peel.

Spread filling over crust. Top with desired berries. Sift powdered sugar over berries. Serve immediately. Makes 12 servings.

Make-ahead tip
Spread the ricotta mixture over the baked and cooled crust and chill for 3 to 4 hours. Just before serving, top with berries.
