Belgian Waffles With Nectarines, Berries and Cream
Turn frozen waffles into a quick and easy dessert when you top them with summer fruits and whipped cream.

1/2 cup frozen blackberries, thawed
2 medium-size nectarines, pitted and thinly sliced
6 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
8 frozen waffles
1/2 cup heavy cream, whipped OR: 1 cup nondairy whipped topping
Place blackberries in medium-size bowl; mash lightly with a fork. Add nectarines, sugar and lemon juice; toss together until well combined. Cover with plastic wrap; set aside for 10 minutes or up to 2 hours.
Toast waffles until crisp.
To serve, place 2 waffles on each dessert plate. Spoon on one-quarter of the fruit mixture. Top each with dollop of whipped cream.
