Batter Up!
Recipe from
Parents
If baseball is the theme of your child's birthday party, make this fun dessert. It uses a cake mix so the only hard part is the decorating. (And that's really the fun part!)

Servings:
1 cake
Ingredients
-
1 box (18.25 ounces)cake mixsee savings

-
1foil baking cupsee savings

-
1 can (16 ounces)caramel frostingsee savings

-
1 cupvanilla frostingsee savings

-
Chocolate and red decorating icingssee savings

Directions
1.
Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Prepare cake mix according to package directions. Spoon batter into a foil baking cup for baseball cupcake. Divide remaining batter between two 8-inch cake pans. Bake cupcake on a baking sheet, testing after 18 minutes. Continue baking cakes as directed. Cool cakes 10 minutes, turn onto rack, and let cool completely.
2.
Layer round cakes with caramel frosting between them; frost entire cake with caramel frosting. Frost cupcake with vanilla frosting. Place remaining vanilla frosting in a freezer-weight zip-top bag and cut off a very small corner.
3.
Decorate cakes with vanilla frosting, and use chocolate and red decorating icings to make baseball and mitt.
